

The Brandon Food Council works collaboratively with community members, nonprofits, local government and food system stakeholders to develop a community based food system with good food for all and a healthy, thriving community. Projects have included: Rooting for local food, a seedling sharing initiative; Everyone Eats Brandon: pay what you can meal program; and the Food Rescue Grocery Store: low cost rescued food for all.

We are looking for members to join us in both leadership positions and advisory roles, and for volunteers for working groups including Engagement and Education, Indigenous Food Sovereignty, and Funding.
